Pastor Scotty Matthews

Pastor Scott Matthews, also known as Pastor Scotty, is a dedicated Christian leader and visionary currently serving as the pastor of Bolton Community Church in Bolton Landing, New York. Under his leadership, the church, which is the oldest in the town, has embraced a mission of restoration and outreach, particularly to those dealing with significant life struggles, such as addiction, mental health issues, domestic abuse, and more.

Pastor Scotty is spearheading a major expansion project on 18 acres of land in Diamond Point, aimed at creating facilities to serve the community's needs. This project includes the development of a special needs house, a restoration center, and housing for staff, which will play a pivotal role in addressing alcohol and drug abuse, depression, and family struggles. The goal is to provide healing and restoration through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

In addition to his focus on the broader community, Pastor Scott Matthews is actively involved in the growth and development of Bolton Community Church. Current projects include the expansion of the church building to better serve youth ministries and add rooms for church services, as well as working to establish a partnership with the Word of Life Biblical Counseling Center, with the potential of becoming an ACBC Training Center for counseling professionals.

Pastor Scotty is not only focused on the physical expansion of the church but also on its spiritual mission. He leads efforts to bring people closer to Christ, supports various ministries including youth group and hospitality, and is engaged in the search for a new Youth Pastor.

Pastor Scotty's dedication to community service and his vision of restoration have been central to the growth of the church and its outreach in the Bolton and Adirondack regions​
