Pastor Scott Matthews, also known as Pastor Scotty Matthews, is a passionate leader and visionary in the Christian community. He currently serves as the pastor of Bolton Community Church, the oldest church in Bolton Landing, New York. Pastor Scotty is deeply committed to serving both his congregation and the wider community, particularly through initiatives aimed at restoration and support for those in need.

He is spearheading a donor-driven project involving 18 acres of land in Diamond Point to establish several facilities, including a special needs house, a restoration center for individuals struggling with issues like alcohol and drug abuse, domestic abuse, depression, and other mental health disorders. The project also includes staff housing and a respite home for families with special needs. This initiative will be foundational for ministry work in the Bolton and Adirondacks regions.

Pastor Scotty has overseen multiple expansion projects at Bolton Community Church, including merging the historic church and parsonage to create a youth center. The church's mission under his leadership has been centered on providing restoration through Jesus Christ, with plans in place for church growth and the potential development of a Biblical Counseling Center in partnership with Word of Life, and possibly becoming an ACBC Training Center.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Scotty has been involved in the search for a Youth Pastor, while guiding and nurturing youth ministries in the meantime. He works closely with his team on various projects, including youth group, junior church, hospitality, and worship, all to support and grow his congregation spiritually and practically.

His vision for the future includes expanding the church's facilities to better accommodate children, teens, and families, and establishing a solid foundation for future ministry leaders. He is working alongside other key individuals, such as Brandon Ferguson and Ron and Kim Spicer, to bring these visions to life.

Throughout his ministry, Pastor Scotty remains focused on providing hope and healing through Christ to those struggling with various life challenges.
