I have been blessed to have a man in my life that has poured into not only me but my family as well. A mentor whose judgement I trust. He listens to my problems, talks me down from the tree that I climbed and am too scared to come down . I listen to his advice and willing to accept that advice even if it isn't what I wanted to hear.
C.S. Lewis said the next best thing to being wise oneself is to live in a circle of those who are.
When I am troubled, I know that I can turn to family memebers, friends, and mentors for help, for guidance, for comfort, and for perspective. Let me be that to others in my community so that my love for God will be reflected in concern for them.
