Dear Friends of BCC,
Thank you for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and financial partnership with Bolton Community Church. Every month, we want to share a glimpse of how God is using your generosity to make an eternal difference in our community.
This month I was reminded that ministry is often as simple as meeting a practical need while pointing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
One of the individuals we have the privilege of serving is a 75-year-old woman whose monthly food assistance was recently reduced to just $60 per month. With the ever-increasing cost of groceries, that amount simply isn't enough to provide for even the basic necessities.
Because of your faithful support, we were able to step in and help.
Through our food pantry ministry, she received fresh milk and eggs through our partnership with Stewart's Shops, pantry items to prepare approximately five meals, and additional bread made available through our partnerships with local stores. More importantly, she received prayer, encouragement, and the reminder that she is not alone.
Sometimes people think ministry is only what happens on Sunday mornings. But ministry also happens around kitchen tables, through grocery bags, during conversations, and in quiet moments when someone discovers that the Church truly cares.
That is what your giving accomplishes.
Every dollar you invest becomes another opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ.
Please continue praying with us for:
Many of you may never meet the people whose lives are being impacted by your generosity this side of heaven. But please know this:
Your prayers matter.
Your generosity matters.
Your partnership matters.
Together, we are making an eternal difference.
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9
Thank you for helping us love God, love people, and reach our community with the hope of Jesus Christ.
Serving Christ together,
Pastor Scotty
