What is our purpose?

What is our purpose?

I look at the way our society is and I can see why a lot of people would be asking this question.  We are put on this earth for the glory of God.  We were created to worship Him, not the other way around as the world makes it seem.  I always go through each week preparing for my sermons by reading various passages, watching various other sermons, digging through my bible institute notes, looking through Pastor Bubar's old sermons trying to walk away from that time knowing, feeling, and doing what I just read about.  The philosophy of HEAD-HEART-LIFE change is so important to today's Christian.  We take a main idea and then examine it through a thought process.  Head change sasy to know that the Christian life is not a set of moral rules but a RELATIONSHIP with God.  The HEART will tell us that we will feel motivated to pursue God not out of guilt but because of our love for him.  Our LIVES will be changed when we listen to and obey the Spirit as he works to make us more like Jesus.

I encourage you all that read this to make sure you dive deep into the scriptures to find for yourself that desire to draw closer to the One who created you and who will always be your greatest cheerleader EVER!
