📢 NEXT GEN Campaign – Investing in the Future of Our Church
The NEXT GEN Campaign is a long-term, donor-funded initiative dedicated to preparing the next generation of leaders for Bolton Community Church. This multi-phase project is designed to expand and strengthen our ministry by meeting key facility and staffing needs.
Why NEXT GEN?
At BCC, we recognize the growing challenge of reaching today’s youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Statistics show that young people are turning away from the church at an alarming rate, and we are committed to reversing this trend by investing in their spiritual growth.
Our mission is clear:
✅ Make disciples by being disciples.
✅ Equip the next generation to love God and love people.
✅ Ensure that BCC is built for longevity, impacting lives for years to come.

We are excited to share all that God is doing at Bolton Community Church and to invite you to join us in expanding our outreach and sharing the love of Jesus!
Our Rich Heritage:
Founded in 1806 as First Baptist Church of Bolton Landing, our church has a long history of serving the Lord. After a brief period of struggle, we were renamed Bolton Community Church in 2015, and then we we got Pastor Scott Matthews who became lead pastor. Since then, we have rededicated ourselves to serving the community with the mission:

We Are Flourishing!
God is blessing our ministry in powerful ways:
✅ Growing attendance and membership – We are regularly at or near capacity for Sunday morning worship.
✅ Active community outreach – Numerous ministries and events are serving and blessing the Bolton community.
✅ Thriving youth program – Since launching in 2022, our youth group has grown to 14 regular attendees, with even more participating in special events.
To continue building on this momentum, we plan to hire a part-time youth pastor dedicated to growing and strengthening our youth programs.
📈 We Need More Space!
With attendance on the rise, we are frequently at or near seating capacity for Sunday worship. Our growing youth ministry also needs dedicated space to meet, connect, and grow in their faith.
✅ Sanctuary Expansion:
By opening the wall between the sanctuary and the side room, we can add space for 30 additional seats, increasing our capacity to 107.
✅ Youth & Ministry Space:
The existing parsonage adjacent to the church building is the ideal location for our expanding youth programs.
- Upstairs rooms will be used for a youth pastor or interns.
- The main level will become a dedicated youth space for fellowship and discipleship.
✅ New Parsonage:
To accommodate the pastor and his family, we will build a new parsonage. If we acquire a property with sufficient acreage, we will also place a manufactured home on the land to serve as a residence for the youth pastor and their family.
